Yesterday I slept a little later because I hadn't slept well in a few days since I had been traveling so much and getting used to the hotter temperature and such. I also slept in today too and just relaxed at the house. I made lunch for everyone ( Pollo, Arroz, y Papas) Chicken, Rice and Potato, very popular meal here in Panama. At almost every meal they have rice and chicken in some form, but its always seasoned differently or something because it never gets old!! Every day my sisters & I clean the floors and tidy up the house, do any laundry we have, hang the washed laundry, and listen to Reggaeton de Panama. I am so glad that I am placed in the home I am in, the parents always look out for me and always make me feel welcomed, along with my two sisters and my sisters friend who can speak some English! I am very close to another person from AFS and actually ran into him at the supermercado, forget if I had mentioned that already. I am really starting to enjoy my time here. Today there was a rainfall and it really cools the temperature and I just find them to be so relaxing in the tropics. We are going to do some shopping tonight in the city and take pictures there too. I am excited for this night and to spend it with these wonderful people! Adios !
